KIN Forte Mouthwash is intended for those requiring long-term Chlorhexidine maintenance. Your dental professional might recommend this product for you if you have or are at risk of severe gum disease and require long term intensive plaque control. KIN Forte is especially recommended in the months following placement of dental implants or fixed prostheses (crowns, bridges etc.) to reduce complications and discomfort.

KIN Forte is often recommended following the acute treatment phase with short-term treatment products such as KIN Gingival Complex toothpaste and mouthwash. KIN Forte allows the prolonged antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving benefits to be provided in a non-staining formula suitable for long-term use.

KIN Forte Mouthwash contains 2 antiseptic ingredients: 0.05% Chlorhexidine aswell as 0.5% Cetylpyridinium Chloride (CPC). The combination of both ingredients gives superior anti-plaque benefits and is highly effective against a wider spectrum of microbes that cause gum disease.

KIN Forte Mouthwash also contains Alpantha® (a combination of allantoin and panthenol) that provides soothing, pain relieving and healing effects and reduces inflammation of gum tissues.

KIN Forte Mouthwash is recommended in several situations such as :

• Maintenance following intensive gum treatment protocols with high strength Chlorhexidine products such as PerioKIN or KIN Gingival Complex.

• Maintenance in those with severe gum disease (periodontitis).
