Laxit Med Macrogal 4000 10G Adult (Green) X20 Sachets

LAXIT med is a medical device, which is based on a concentrated and effective formula that helps normalize intestinal transit through a natural action, without irritating the intestinal mucosa.

Due to its affinity for water, LAXIT med softens faeces making it easier to evacuate.

Indications
For symptomatic treatment of constipation in adults and children over 8 years.

Composition
Each sachet contains 10g Macrogol 4000.

It does not contain flavourings or other excipients.
Dosage and method of administration
Children +8 years: 1 sachet 1-2 times/day.
Adults: 1 sachet 1-3 times/day.

The contents of one sachet are dissolved in 50-100 ml of water, and then taken orally.

The powder can be mixed into any drink, even hot, such as: tea, milk, fruit juice, soup.
- Laxit med does not change the taste of the drink.
- It is recommended to take between meals or, in case of a single dose, in the evening before bedtime.
- It is used until normal intestinal transit is restored, but not more than 28 consecutive days.
- Administration can be resumed after 2 days break.

Recommendations
Do not use Laxit®med in case of hypersensitivity to macrogol, severe inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), toxic megacolon, perforation or risk of perforation, intestinal occlusion, abdominal pain syndrome of undetermined cause.

People prone to electrolyte imbalances, such as those with hepatic or renal insufficiency, should use Laxit®med with caution.
