Originally from eastern India, from the regions on the slopes of the Himalayas, Moringa intervenes usefully towards the correct metabolism of lipids and in the balance of body weight, which makes it an excellent adjuvant in slimming diets. Moringa brings the right content of proteins and other nutrients such as to make it an excellent complement for the diet of vegetarians and vegans: it contains 9 essential amino acids, 27 vitamins, 46 antioxidants and various minerals, and is therefore useful in case of reduced intake with diet or increased organic requirements for these nutrients. Its properties are mainly linked to the presence of some substances called glucosinolates, linked to the control of lipids and the lipid profile, therefore to weight control.
